Characteristics
- Increased melting speed increases productivity and reduces gas volume
- Fuel efficiency increases by around 30% or more, leading to reductions in CO2.
- The small shape reduces the impact of injecting materials and means the furnaces can go for longer without needing repairs
- During filling, the gap is blocked to prevent oxidation by direct fire
- Packaging materials can be used repeatedly, reducing waste
- Unlike conventional 5-kg ingots, they only weigh about 100 g each, making it possible to melt only the required weight
